A 16-year-old prisoner on Thursday escaped from the family court along Duke Street in downtown Kingston. The teenaged boy was charged with robbery. He escaped shortly after 5 o’clock while being escorted from court. This led to a chase along sections of downtown Kingston. The teenager was caught by Close Protection Officers assigned to the Supreme Court near the Jamaica Conference Centre at the Kingston Waterfront and returned to custody.
